The new year brings new challenges on how to improve from the last. I’m excited about the growth that we have experienced with the DMAW-Educational Foundation, and look forward to what can be accomplished in 2014.
The DMAW Educational Foundation is making a difference in the direct marketing community by connecting students, academia and business executives through our highly effective programs.
Here are just a few 2013 highlights:
- Professor’s Institute “graduated” 31 professors compared to 25 in 2013
- A new Student Ambassador program was added to gain more student involvement with the Educational Foundation. We hope for great results in 2014.
- The Mentor For a Day program continues to grow with great promise. In part, the program helped four graduating students make connections and secure employment with local direct marketing organizations.
