Each academic fall and spring semester, the DMAW/EF offers the Mid-Atlantic five state regional Collegiate MAXI Case Competition that provides undergraduates as well as graduate students the chance to apply the direct/interactive marketing principles they learn in classes to a real world scenario. In the past, students have written compelling marketing campaigns to increase sales of National Geographic Society’s children’s books, or have driven (customer) traffic to test a Chevy VOLT at Ourisman Chevrolet.
Our Case Award Ceremony is held at the conclusion of our current oral case competition, both in the fall and spring semester of the academic year. Each competing team receives feedback on its submission in this competition. Awards and accolades are given to the winning teams at this event. The top three winning case team members will receive a substantial cash prize along with personal commendation certificates.
