James Madison University, American University (2 teams), King’s College, University of Mary Washington (2 teams), Salisbury University (2 teams), Virginia State University, Drexel University, and Johns Hopkins University (2 graduate teams)] will participate in the Oral Case Competition to be held on Friday, November 4, at Quad Graphics in Alexandria, VA.

Students will select from one of two nonprofit organizations and create an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) designed for the stated focus of that selected organization.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS)
Student teams will develop a multi-channel marketing campaign, with audience identification, to incorporate direct mail, email, digital advertising, social media, telemarketing and other relevant channels for fundraising that encompasses their recommended strategy for this organization. The teams will provide a strategy brief that includes a solid, measurable goal in regard to the team’s proposed marketing efforts.
The First Place team will receive $600. The Second Place team will receive $400 with the Third Place team receiving $200. Graduate teams will compete for a $300 prize.
