Learn About the Transformation of Analytics
Organizations with a culture committed to analytics, consistently applying analytics to a full range of decisions- from operational to strategic- are aware, agile, focused, aligned and proactive. They are able to anticipate and shape business outcomes and outperform their peers.
Ready to learn the secrets that all analytics-driven organizations already know?
The IBM Academic Initiative Workshop is a highly interactive event ideal for providing your cross-functional team with a taste of what’s possible for an analytics-driven organization. Divided into small competitive teams, participants role play executives in a fictitious company. Using simulated data and challenged with specific business goals, they must use business analytics in real time to determine:
“What is happening?” “Why?” “What should we be doing?”
Participate, learn and benefit
During the workshop, participants will:
- Discover information sweet spots in figures taken from finance, marketing, sales, development, operations and services departments.
- Learn how intelligent aggregation, conditioning and presentation can transform seemingly overwhelming masses of data into valuable decision-making resources.
- Analyze the impact of your decisions across departmental boundaries, and learn how different departments in your company are connected.
- Understand how planning, monitoring and analysis interlock smoothly to provide you with easy-to-read instruments and precise controls.
Register early. Participation is limited to 32. Since you will be working in teams, it is necessary that you are able to attend for the full five hours. If you are not able to make this time commitment on May 14, we would appreciate you not registering. If this program is popular, we hope to offer it later in the year. Lunch will also be included at no cost.
